Ask it anything

It knows your last two weeks, not just today

Most trackers log your food and leave you to figure out the rest. MitFit.app reads your last 14 days, so when you ask how you're doing, you get an answer built around your actual numbers.

The more you log, the sharper it gets. Give it a couple of weeks and your coach knows your patterns better than you do.

I've been good but the weight isn't shifting
Coach · reading your last 14 days
MitFit.app coach reply citing 0 of 14 logged days hitting the water target, and the 7 day average weight trend
0 of 14 days hit the water target. That is the actual pattern behind the stall, not a guess.
What it does

Six things that make it different

Each one is built, tested, and live, not planned, not promised. See the full breakdown →

01
A coach that knows your last two weeks
Ask "how am I doing?" and get an answer built on your actual numbers, not a generic tip. The more you log, the sharper it gets.
02
Trends that show the real direction
A 52-week consistency grid and your 7-day average weight: the numbers that actually predict where you're heading, not the daily noise that makes you doubt yourself.
03
A buffer so you never need to weigh a thing
Most people under-count food by around a quarter. The built-in 15% buffer covers hidden extras like restaurant guessing, hidden oils, or portions that were bigger than they looked. This means you track honestly without a kitchen scale.
04
Ghost Weight and the Whoosh
The two patterns your scales will never explain on their own. Your coach spots them, names them, and keeps you going the week before the progress shows up. More on these below.
05
Plan tomorrow before it happens
Log tomorrow's birthday dinner or work lunch in advance. Walk in knowing where you stand. The coach remembers the plan and checks in the next morning.
06
Logging in ten seconds, your way
Say it, snap it, scan it, or type it. "Two eggs and toast" is a complete log. The AI estimates the calories and macros, so you never enter a number manually.
The two patterns your scales miss

Named, explained, and stopped from derailing you

Because MitFit.app reads your last two weeks, it can spot what looks like failure but is actually progress. These are the two it watches for.

Ghost Weight
The scale lied this morning
A big reading after a good week is nearly always water weight, not fat. You cannot gain a kilogram of fat overnight. MitFit.app checks your last two weeks and tells you the truth: if you have been on track, that spike is temporary. It will clear.
The Whoosh
Two weeks of nothing, then a drop
Sometimes the scale sits still for a week or two while your body is doing exactly what it should, and then it drops. MitFit.app spots the pattern and tells you it looks like it was working all along, so you do not give up the week before progress shows.
Coach · today
Nothing has changed on the scale for two weeks. Thinking about stopping.
Your calories have been in range, protein consistent, average moving just slowly. This looks like a classic whoosh. The body holds water while fat is being lost, then releases it all at once. You might be in the flat part just before the drop. Keep going.
How do you know?
Two weeks of data, and you haven't missed a day. The trend's heading the right way.
The numbers behind your plan

We use the Mifflin-St Jeor equation, the clinical standard, to estimate what your body burns, then adjust for how active you are and what you're aiming for. We set protein high enough to protect your muscle, keep fat in a healthy range, and let carbs fill the rest. We add a sensible buffer because everyone under-counts what they eat, and we track your 7-day average because one day never tells the real story.

Nothing here is extreme, and none of it is medical advice. It's a sensible starting point you can adjust any time.

The feel

Every other app punishes a bad day. MitFit.app absorbs it.

"I stopped chasing the perfect two-hour gym session."

Consistency beats perfection

The app is built around the same realisation Mit had: that showing up imperfectly and consistently beats the perfect plan you cannot stick to. The buffer, the 7-day average, and the coach voice all exist to serve that truth.

The buffer covers the messy days

Restaurant guessing, a portion that was bigger than it looked, hidden oils in the sauce: the 15% buffer quietly accounts for the real world so you do not have to weigh every gram or feel guilty when you cannot.

Every day resets. Tomorrow starts clean.

A late-night snack, a takeaway, a skipped session: none of it carries over. The slate clears, and the weekly average barely notices one off day. That is the design, not a workaround.

A coach, not a judge

No red screens, no exceeded-your-limit messages, no shame. Your coach is honest about the numbers and steady about the day. The goal is a direction, not a verdict.

"One off day is data, not failure. The 7-day average is what actually shows where you are heading."

The MitFit.app coaching philosophy

"From tired and watching the clock, to having the energy to get on the floor and play."
