Please read these terms carefully before using MitFit.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
MitFit.app is operated by Chawla Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number to follow once registration is complete).
MitFit.app is a fitness tracking web application, available at mitfit.app and as an installable app on your home screen. The service lets you log food, water, steps, exercise, and weight, and to interact with an AI fitness coach powered by Google Gemini.
MitFit.app is a fitness tracking tool, not a medical device, clinical nutrition service, or medical advice service. The AI coach provides general wellness guidance and calorie estimates, not medical, clinical, or dietetic advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.

By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements. We do not knowingly provide the service to anyone under 18.
When you register, you must provide a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, for all activity that occurs under your account, and for notifying us immediately at hello@mitfit.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
You must not share your account credentials with anyone else. One account per person.
MitFit.app is currently in private beta. The terms below apply to beta members and to the paid subscription that follows.
5.1 Beta access. The first members to join (up to a limited number announced from time to time) are invited as beta members. Beta access does not require payment details and no charge is taken while beta status applies.
5.2 The free period. Beta members receive six months of full access from the date their account is activated, completely free of charge. No card is required to start the free period and no automatic payment is taken during it.
5.3 What happens after the free period. Shortly before your six months end, we will contact you by email to let you know. You will then be offered the chance to continue at the founding annual price, which will be confirmed and displayed at mitfit.app before any payment is requested. If you take no action, no payment will be taken and your account will move to a limited or inactive state rather than being charged automatically. You choose whether to continue.
5.4 The founding price. If you choose to continue after your free period, the price you are offered as a beta member is locked in for as long as you keep your subscription continuously active. Should you cancel and later resubscribe, the price available at that later date will apply instead.
5.5 Standard pricing. Once the beta period ends and MitFit.app is generally available, new members who did not join during the beta will pay the standard pricing displayed at mitfit.app at the time of sign-up, which may differ from the founding price offered to beta members.
5.5a The founding price promotion. After the limited number of beta spots described in 5.1 have been filled, we may run a separate founding price promotion open to new members. This promotion does not include the six month free period described in 5.2, which applies only to beta members, but it does allow members who join during the promotion to lock in a discounted annual price for as long as they keep their subscription continuously active, on the same basis as 5.4. The promotion price and its end date will be displayed at mitfit.app at the time of sign-up.
5.6 Billing and renewal. Any paid subscription is billed in advance for the period selected (monthly or annual) and renews automatically unless cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
5.7 Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial-period refunds.
5.8 Refunds. We do not offer refunds for periods already in progress, except where required by law, including your statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 where applicable, or in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion. 5.9 Price changes. Outside of the founding price guarantee described in 5.4, we may change subscription pricing for new or existing standard members. We will give at least 30 days notice before any price change affecting an existing paid subscriber takes effect. If you do not agree with a new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
You agree to use the service only for lawful personal purposes. You must not use the service to harm, defraud, or deceive anyone, attempt to access, scrape, or reverse engineer any part of the service, share your account or use the service commercially without our written consent, upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or harmful content, or use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.
When you use the service, you may provide content such as food log entries, notes, and photographs for AI food analysis. You retain ownership of your content.
By using the service, you grant Chawla Technology Ltd a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your personal health logs for marketing or share them with third parties except as described in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you provide is accurate and does not infringe third party rights.
MitFit.app uses AI, specifically Google Gemini, to estimate calories and macronutrients from food descriptions and photographs. These are estimates only and may not be accurate. We apply a buffer to all AI food estimates to help account for this uncertainty.
AI estimates are not a substitute for professional nutritional advice. Calorie and macro data from the AI coach or food logs should not be relied upon for medical or clinical decision making.
You acknowledge that AI outputs may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate, and that you use them at your own discretion.
All intellectual property in the MitFit.app service, including the software, design, text, and AI prompts, belongs to Chawla Technology Ltd or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property.
You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial use only.
MitFit.app integrates with third party services to deliver its features, including Google Gemini for the AI coach and food analysis, Supabase for database and authentication, Stripe for payments, and Open Food Facts, an open source food database used to retrieve nutritional information when you scan a product barcode. Your use of these integrations is subject to those providers own terms and policies. Open Food Facts data is crowd sourced and nutritional values should be treated as estimates.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third party services.
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Chawla Technology Ltd's liability to you in connection with the service is limited as follows. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss, including loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of health outcomes. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for the accuracy of AI estimates, calorie data, or coach recommendations.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected by these terms.
MitFit.app is not a medical device, clinical service, or regulated health product. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. The service sets nutritional targets based on general wellness principles, not clinical assessment. Do not use MitFit.app as a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice.
The service is not suitable for children under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical supervision, individuals with a current or historic eating disorder without agreement from their medical team, or individuals with conditions requiring clinical nutrition management, such as diabetes, renal disease, or coeliac disease, without professional guidance.
We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, update or modify features of the service, or discontinue features or the service itself with reasonable notice.
We will give you at least 30 days notice of any significant changes to the service or these terms.
You can delete your account at any time in the app settings. Deletion ends these terms and we will delete your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we have reason to believe you are misusing the service. We will give you notice unless the breach is severe.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you also have the right to use alternative dispute resolution. You can use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date counts as acceptance of the updated terms.
MitFit.app is a web based application that requires an active internet connection to use AI powered features, including food logging, photo analysis, barcode scanning, and the AI coach. Some features may also work using your device's mobile data connection.
It is your responsibility to check with your mobile network provider or broadband provider regarding any data charges that may arise from using the service. We are not responsible for, and will not reimburse, any data charges you incur.
